The 1st Convocation of Dhaka International University (DIU) was held on 27 November 2007 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (Bangladesh China Friendship Centre), Dhaka.
The 1st Convocation of Dhaka International University (DIU) was held on 27 November 2007 at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (Bangladesh China Friendship Centre), Dhaka. Professor Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed, Hon’ble President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and Chancellor, DIU presided over the ceremony. A total of 3110 graduates were conferred bachelor and master’s degrees in eight disciplines including Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, Law, Sociology, English, Economics and Education. Justice Naimuddin Ahamed was present as convocation speaker. The venue was adorned with festive mood.
