It is both an honor and a profound responsibility to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Education (B.Ed.) at Dhaka International University—an institution that has long been committed to excellence in higher education and teacher development in Bangladesh.

I pay my deepest tribute to the illustrious founder of this institution, the late Alhaj Professor Dr. A. B. M. Mafizul Islam Patwari—a distinguished educationist, visionary leader, and humanist. His enduring commitment to knowledge, ethical values, and nation-building laid the foundation for academic innovation and quality education. His ideals continue to inspire our mission, shape our pedagogical approach, and guide our pursuit of excellence in teacher education.

Since its inception, the Faculty of Education has been dedicated to preparing skilled, reflective, and compassionate educators through its Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) program. The Faculty has built a strong reputation for academic excellence, practical training, and professional relevance. Our graduates have gone on to serve as teachers, education administrators, curriculum developers, researchers, and leaders in educational institutions both nationally and internationally.

In today’s rapidly evolving world—driven by technological advancement, globalization, and changing learning needs—the role of teachers has become more critical than ever. Education is no longer limited to traditional classroom instruction; it is a dynamic process that shapes individuals, communities, and the future of society. Our B.Ed. program responds to these demands through a modern curriculum, teaching practicum, classroom simulations, research activities, and interactive learning environments that bridge theory and practice.
