It is both an honor and a profound responsibility to serve as the Dean of the Faculty of Education (M.Ed.) at Dhaka International University—an institution dedicated to advancing excellence in higher education and educational leadership in Bangladesh.

I pay my deepest tribute to the illustrious founder of this institution, the late Alhaj Professor Dr. A. B. M. Mafizul Islam Patwari—a distinguished educationist, visionary leader, and humanist. His unwavering commitment to knowledge, ethical values, and national development laid the foundation for academic excellence and innovation. His ideals continue to inspire our mission, shape our academic vision, and guide our pursuit of quality in advanced teacher education.

The Master of Education (M.Ed.) program is designed to develop highly skilled educators, researchers, and academic leaders who can contribute effectively to the evolving landscape of education. Over the years, the Faculty has built a strong reputation for academic rigor, research excellence, and professional relevance. Our graduates have made significant contributions as senior educators, education administrators, policymakers, curriculum specialists, and researchers—both nationally and internationally.

In today’s dynamic and knowledge-driven world—shaped by globalization, digital transformation, and educational reform—the need for advanced professional training in education has become increasingly vital. The M.Ed. program addresses these challenges through a comprehensive curriculum that emphasizes research, critical analysis, leadership development, and evidence-based practice.
